Cliff Laurendeau, Principal of Red Dog Wine & Spirits Sales & Marketing is the driving force behind the company. As past Cellar Master to the Australian Wine Society of Vancouver and after 10 years working in the BC wine industry with Vintage Consultants and Maxxium Canada representing such notable international producers as Wolf Blass, Kenwood, Geyser Peak, Mondavi, Ferrari Carano, Charles Heidsieck, Cointreau, and Absolut Vodka, and domestic producer Gray Monk, Cliff decided to open his own business in 2004 to provide his sales and marketing knowledge to the BC and Alberta market.

Prior to working in the wine industry, Cliff was a news editor for 15 years, working alongside the infamous Jack Webster, a well-known Vancouver TV personality. With this collective knowledge and expertise, as well as support from many clients and partners he decided to venture out on his own. Upon taking up the challenge of starting his own company Cliff stated, "the marketplace is constantly changing and, one has to be in tune with the tastes of the consumer and their needs, if you are going to be of any service to your suppliers. My goal is to provide first rate service to all my suppliers and the end consumers."
